Breast Cancer High Tea

Every October, Firstlink joins millions of people worldwide in observing Breast Cancer Awareness Month a global health campaign dedicated to increasing awareness about breast cancer, promoting early detection, and supporting those affected by the disease. For us, this is more than a symbolic gesture; it reflects our commitment to securing tomorrow, today, by protecting lives, promoting wellness, and supporting the communities we serve.

As an insurance broker, our mission is rooted in protection and care helping individuals and families prepare for life’s uncertainties. Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death among women globally, and it affects countless families emotionally, physically, and financially.
By supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we reinforce our belief that insurance is not only about financial protection but also about empowering people to live healthier, longer lives.

In this spirit, we held a High Tea event for clients and colleagues. A practical session with survivors and those who have walked the journey of loss of loved ones.

Statistics show that when breast cancer is detected early, the chances of successful treatment increase significantly. We encourage women and the men who love them to have:

• Regular breast screenings and mammograms
• Health education on recognizing early symptoms
• Open conversations that remove the stigma or fear around cancer testing

The awareness month is over but let us continue getting screened and checked regularly. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the fight against breast cancer.
